May 4th, also known as Star Wars Day, is an unofficial holiday celebrating the Georg Lucas franchise. Taken from the line “May the force be with you,” featured in the “Star Wars” movie, the pun “May the fourth be with you” has spread quickly round movie fan circles.
The phrase was not lost on country stars Chris Young and Jason Aldean, who took to Instagram Friday (May 4) to celebrate the day. Jason got his 5-month-old son, Memphis, in on the act. He posted a photo of Memphis superimposed into an Obi Wan Kenobi outfit, complete with lightsaber.
“Happy Star Wars day! #jedimemphis and #theforceisstrongwiththisone,” Jason wrote with the photo.
Chris also got into the action posting a cast photo, created by Dee Jay Silver, of himself, Kane Brown and Dee Jay Silver superimposed into movie character images. That’s a movie we wouldn’t want to miss.
May the fourth… and the force be with us all.
