Many country artists, songwriters and executives have vacation property in the Florida panhandle, including Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Chris Janson and Lady Antebellum’s Charles Kelley. During this period of quarantine, they have flocked to those beautiful getaways where they can, at least, be in the sand and sunshine. But during the evening of May 6, their peaceful oases were threatened by a fire that spread rapidly down the strip known as 30-A.
The fire has forced over 2,000 people from their homes, according to ABC News, and has spread over nearly 3,000 acres. Fortunately, no injuries or deaths have been reported.

Jason’s wife, Brittany, shared photos in her Instagram stories of the smoke and fire closing in on their property where they have been for much of the quarantine. She adds that she and Jason, along with their children have been evacuated.
Charles’ wife, Cassie, also shared a photo of the smoke rising into the sky and wrote, “Thanks to everyone for checking on us. We are ok and not in the evacuation area . Praying so hard for the first responders and everyone who has lost property or a business in these fires. I’m still taking this all in…will be back tomorrow after I’ve had a chance to process and have more info how to help.”

Chris Janson’s wife, Kelly, also shared several photos of both the heavy smoke that is blanketing the area.
Currently, the situation is still being considered dangerous as fire fighters continue to gain control of the fire. Unfortunately, hot and dry conditions are exacerbating their efforts.
