Jessie James Decker has joined forces with country hit-maker Randy Houser on a new song, “Almost Over You.”

The new collaboration will be featured on Decker’s upcoming second album, Southern Girl City Lights, set for release on Oct. 13 and is the third song Decker has released from her upcoming album, following up to “Southern Girl City Lights” and “Filled Up.”

“Almost Over You” is an uptempo love song about a couple who have gone their separate ways, but during a night out, run into each other and rekindle their romance after almost being over each other.

“I was almost over you / Wasn’t thinking ’bout you at all / Now it’s like all I can do / Is hold on ’til the last call / you come home with me / And stay the whole night through / Maybe longer if you do / I was almost over you.”

“When it was time for me to ask someone to do a duet with me for my upcoming record, Randy Houser was the first person I thought of,” Decker said. “He is someone I have known for over 10 years. He was one of the first people to take a chance and write a song with me, which actually landed my very first record deal.

Houser joined Decker in the studio and their behind-the-scenes moments were featured on the latest episode of “Eric&Jessie,” Decker’s reality series on E!

Following the release of the song, the “How Country Feels” singer took to Twitter to praise Decker saying, “Have always said @JessieJDecker is one of the best singers I’ve known. Love you and thank you!!”

Decker’s Southern Girl City Lights, the follow up album to her EP Gold, is due out Oct. 13.
