Congratulations go out to singer-songwriter Jimmie Allen and his gorgeous fiancée, Alexis Gale. The couple welcomed a baby girl to their family on March 1, the same day that Jimmie’s second single, “Make Me Want To” topped the country charts.
Jimmie called into The Ty Bentli Show and shared all of the pertinent details with show hosts Chuck Wicks and Trisha “T.J.” Jenkins. After Chuck and TJ congratulated him, he said, “You know, I thought getting a number one was going to be the best part of my day yesterday, but then my daughter, Naomi, was born yesterday.”

The singer, who has already been busy touring and leaves for a European run on March 7, laughed, “We had a show in Jacksonville Saturday and we hopped on the bus and were coming back. Normally, every other night I’ve had my phone on ringer, but this time I had my phone on vibrate. Next thing, my sound guy is waking me up at 6 in the morning saying, ‘Dude, dude, check your phone. Lexi is going into labor.’”
He made it back to Nashville with a couple of hours to spare.
Jimmie went on to say, “The baby’s name is Naomi Allen. Her middle name is Betty, we named her after my grandma, so her initials are NBA, go figure. And my grandma’s birthday was actually March 13, my mom’s birthday is March 7 and Naomi’s birthday is March 1.” He also added, “Lexi is laying right here looking awesome.”
Jimmie and Alexis got engaged at Disney World on July 15, 2019. This is the second child for Jimmie, who is dad to 4-year-old son Aidan, from a previous relationship.
Congratulations to Jimmie and Lexi on their new bundle of joy.
