Josh Turner’s Crew Bus Involved in Fatal Crash


Josh Turner’s crew bus was involved in a fatal accident on Wednesday night (Sept. 18) following a show in Paso Robles, Calif., which resulted in seven injured and one fatality.

According to San Luis Obispo County Fire Department’s twitter account, the fire department arrived on the of a mass casualty incident where there were “8 patients— 5 moderate, 2 major and 1 deceased.”

The Twitter account later confirmed the news.  Josh and his band were not on the bus according to the fire department.

” #CenterIC Confirmed Tour Bus of the Josh Turner Road Crew was involved in this accident. Mr. Josh Turner and band were in different buses and not injured. #CHP and #Firefighters will be at scene several hours for investigation and clean up.”

The Associated Press reported that Josh’t crew bus was headed eastbound on Highway 46 in San Luis Obispo County when it crashed in Shandon, Calif., late Wednesday night.

According to his website, Josh is schedule to perform on Friday, September 20 at Central Washington State Fair in Yakima, Washington.
