Kane Brown Brings Heartfelt “Homesick” to Late Night

As Kane continues his media blitz in support of his new Live Forever Tour and new album, Experiment, the Georgia native made a stop at “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” Monday night (Jan. 14).

Introduced by host Stephen Colbert as “the ONLY artist in Billboard history to top all five country charts simultaneously,” Kane took the stage to share the smooth vocals on the heartfelt song. Decked out in black jeans and black jacket, Kane belted out the emotional lyrics about missing the he loves, who’s back home waiting.

This feeling that I’m feeling  / No it don’t quit  / It’s like half of me is missing  / Heaven knows it  / That all I wanna do is  / Be alone with  / Your brown eyes all tangled up  / Just holding, onto you tonight until morning  / Baby that’s the damn truth  / If home is where the heart is  / I’m homesick for you,” Kane sings in the chorus.

“Homesick,” written by Kane, Brock Berryhill, Matthew McGinn and Taylor Phillips, is featured on Kane’s sophomore album, Experiment. The 25-year-old singer also performed the song during The Salute to Service game in November, where the Pittsburgh Steelers recognized members of the Armed Forces while hosting the Carolina Panthers at Heinz Field.

“God bless you guys. Thank y’all for serving our country,” he said at the end of his performance.

Kane recently kicked off his headlining Live Forever Tour in Duluth, Georgia, with opening acts Granger Smith with RaeLynn, Danielle Bradbery, and Jimmie Allen on select dates.
