Kane Brown and Camila Cabello Are The Next Pop-Country Pair to Team Up For Duet

Following in the footsteps of Florida Georgia Line and Bebe Rexha and Maren Morris and Zedd, Kane Brown and Camila Cabello are the next pop-country duo teaming up for a duet.

According to Variety, Kane and Camilla will be releasing a remix of Camila’s “Never Be the Same,” slated to hit the stratosphere on Friday (April 27).

Camilla took to Twitter to tease a surprise coming this week. “i. HAVE. A SURPRISE. FOR YOU. THIS WEEK,” she wrote.

Kane immediately responded with two flame emojis, meaning it will be hot.

Surprise! The cat is finally out of the bag and we know the two young stars are teaming up. Kane’s last joint effort on “What Ifs” with Lauren Alaina, garnered the duo a No.1 country hit and ACM nomination.

“Never Be the Same,” is Camila’s second single, following her smash hit “Havana.” Released in Jan. 2018, the song peaked at No. 13 on the Billboard Top 100 chart.

Since the success of FGL/Bebe Rexha’s “Meant to Be,” landing on the top of the Hot Country Songs chart for 21 consecutive weeks and Maren Morris’ and Zedd’s “The Middle” is screaming up the charts, you can bet we’ll be seeing a lot more of these pop/country pairings in the future.

Camila will also be hitting the road with Taylor Swift as part of her reputation Tour, kicking off May 8.
