We’ve always known that Kane Brown is one of the most chill artists in country music, but he took it to the next level when he and wife Katelyn met their scary new neighbor while on a walk in the country.
Kane shared a video on his Instagram of the chance encounter. As the reptile slithers across the road in front of them, you can hear Katelyn in the background. “Babe, are you kidding me,” she says and then repeats, “Babe, are you kidding me?” She then very soundly declares, “We’re moving, we’re moving,” as the animal disappears into the brush. “No, no, no, no, what is that, what is that,” she asks. “What is that, what kind is that, what kind of snake is that,” she pleads.
Meanwhile, Kane laughs and very calmly responds, “I don’t know what kind it is. What’s crazy is, that looks like a rattle.”
Katelyn, who is expecting the couple’s first baby, commented on her husband’s post, “Almost done packing…movers will be here in an hour.”
Kane’s country music pals had plenty to say, too. Chris Young succinctly replied, “Bro. Move.” Chris Lane had more of a question for his friend. “Where is this,” he asked. I can’t move near there.” Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild replied, simply, “No” and Lindsay Ell politely commented, “No, thank you.”
Jam master, Dee Jay Silver put a positive spin on the serpent, though. He commented, “That’s a pair of boots, KB!”
While most of Kane’s followers supported Katelyn’s desire to move, some even suggesting that she didn’t need to waste time packing, others reminded us that snakes do serve a purpose for naturally controlling the rodent population.
Aren’t there less poisonous snakes that can do that?
