Keith Urban will serve as host at the upcoming ARIA Awards in Australia. Set to happen on Nov. 28 in Sydney, the singer will return home for the annual Australian Recording Industry Association Awards, the country’s equivalent to the Grammy Awards.

“I’m really looking forward to coming home and celebrating an incredible year of Australian music,” Keith says in a statement. “There’s been so many impressive releases this year, it’s gonna be a tough competition but we get to recognize and honor the best of the best at Aussie music’s night of nights.”

Keith’s hosting duties mark his return to the ARIA Awards stage in over a decade. In 2007, the singer joined John Butler for a performance. In previous years, he has been a recipient of several ARIA Awards. The 32nd annual awards show will mark Keith’s first time as a host.

“Keith Urban is one of Australia’s greatest musical success stories and we are delighted he will host the 32nd annual ARIA Awards in Sydney, further cementing our Harbour City’s reputation as the nation’s music capital,” NSW Minister for Tourism and Major Events, Adam Marshall said.

In the midst of his Graffiti U World Tour, Keith recently wrapped the Canadian leg of his trek with Lindsay Ell. The tour’s name is borrowed from his latest album, Graffiti U, released earlier this year. The project debuted at No. 1 in Australia, Canada and the U.S. As a result, Keith is the only male country artist to debut at the top of the all genre charts simultaneously in three countries.
