The world is watching as bushfires ravage the land, people and wildlife of Australia, and that includes Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman who both hail from the magical land down under.

Keith, who was born in New Zealand and grew up in Queensland, and Nicole, who was born in Hawaii and grew up in Sydney, still have a home in Australia and both of their families are still in the country. In fact, the Urban-Kidman family spent their Christmas in Sydney before Keith was needed for his New Year’s Eve performance in Nashville.

According to Today, a rep has confirmed that while the couple’s home is not currently on fire, it is in danger as the fires are rapidly enveloping the east coast, including Sydney.

Both Keith and Nicole have shared information on their socials for friends and fans who would like to help donate to the fire services who are actively trying to protect and save their homeland. The couple has also made a generous donation of $500,000 to the rural fire services who, in addition to fighting the fire, are rescuing people and animals who have been caught up in this rapidly growing disaster.

“Our family’s support, thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by the fires all over Australia,” Nicole wrote. “We are donating $500,000 to the Rural Fire Services who are all doing and giving so much right now.”

Keith and Nicole aren’t the only country stars affected by this tragedy. Randy Houser, whose wife, Tatiana, is also from Australia and has family there, shared heartbreaking images of the fires, along with links for donations.
