Kelsea Ballerini knows how to throw a party.
To celebrate her third single “Peter Pan” going No. 1, the singer-songwriter took over an airplane hanger in Nashville and filled it with fog, lights and drinks.
She called it Neverland, mimicking the feel of the song’s video.
But when One Country’s Kelly Sutton grabbed Kelsea for a chat, the songstress was focused on the song.
“I feel like with ‘Love Me…’ and ‘Dibs’ we kind of like dipped our toe in, ‘OK, do you still like me? OK. A little bit further? OK,” Kelsea told One Country. “With ‘Peter Pan’ I feel like we just jumped in the water’ It was a ballad and a little more depth and a little more of a risk. To see that it was embraced means a lot to me as a songwriter.”
During the ceremony, Kelsea received numerous plaques for the song as well as a Gold album for The First Time.
