There’s a famous saying in show business that says the show must go on. Kenny Chesney put that saying to work when he played through an injury during his Trip Around the Sun Tour date at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.
Kenny gave it his all during the tour stop, as he always does, but according to the Kansas City Star, the superstar appeared to have injured himself during the show. As he limped across the massive stage, Kenny may have hurt his ankle or knee.
But that didn’t stop the 50-year-old from continuing to give the fans what they came for. Fan video from the show captured Kenny hobbling around the stage after his injury.

Kenny took to Twitter prior to the big night to share a pic of himself standing in the stadium decked out in a Kansas City Chiefs football helmet. He captioned the pictured, “Let’s do this Kansas City..
Kenny will get a short break to nurse his injury for a couple of days. His next Trip Around the Sun Tour stop will take him to Southhaven, Miss. on July 19.
