Kenny Chesney announced his 2018 Trip Around the Sun Tour in October of 2017, but now the “Come Over” singer is mixing it up by adding 21 amphitheater shows to the already announced stadium tour.
Kenny’s world tour kicks off on April 21 in Tampa, Florida, with stops in Atlanta, Philadelphia, Seattle, Nashville, Phoenix, Denver and Chicago. The amphitheater dates are set to pass through Charlotte, West Palm Beach, Syracuse and Cincinnati.
“Part of the fun of mixing the venues is riding the energy, letting the music breathe in different ways and really giving the audience dynamics that are so intense without being the same show across America,” Kenny said. “The amphitheaters all have their own vibes, their own attitude – and those experiences shift very specifically.”
Joining Kenny on the road will be Thomas Rhett, Old Dominion and Brandon Lay.
