The five-some took Shania Twain’s classic “You’re Still The One” from 1998 and turned it into an instant success with Dave Haywood on guitar and Hillary Scott taking the first round of lead vocals.
Though the ladies grew up idolizing Shania, it was Charles Kelley who had the idea to cover the tune, telling Rolling Stone Country, “I’ve always been a big Shania Twain fan. I’ve always thought she made timeless music. And, man, ‘Still the One’ is such a timeless song and a timeless melody.”
The group also shared that this may be covered on the tour, but no final decisions have been made yet.
Not quite as steamy as Shania’s version, but what could be?
