As Hillary Scott prepares to give birth to twin girls any day now, she couldn’t travel to the 60th Annual GRAMMY Awards in New York City with her
Lady Antebellum bandmates, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood. But, she was there in more than just spirit as the guys carried a cardboard cutout of her around the ceremony all evening. The cutout even made a TV appearance when Lady A was announced as a nominee for Best Country Album.

Charles introduced us to Cardboard Hill in the hotel, where he noted that she was wearing a white rose in support of the #MeToo movement. Dave also complimented her outfit in the car on the way to the ceremony.

Before heading into the show, the guys made sure Hillary was all hydrated up and ready to go.

After Hillary saw herself on TV, she shared a shot of her view from the couch saying, ” started bawling and laughing equally. I literally have the best bandmates and family in the whole wide world. It’s been a bittersweet day not being in NYC, but I’ve never felt more in two places at once.”

Lady A’s Best Country Album nod for Heart Break marked their third time being nominated for the award, as they won in 2011 for Need You Now and again in 2012 for Own the Night.
