Music runs in the family for Dave Haywood. The Lady Antebellum member and proud father of two shared a very special birthday gift given to his four-year-old son, Cash.

Cash turned four on Sept. 7 and was gifted with a drum kit. As it turns out, the Haywood household has another musician on their hands. Dave shared the thoughtful gift with fans on Instagram through an adorable clip of Cash jamming on the drums shortly after opening his gift.

“Happy 4th birthday Cash!!!!” Dave captions the video clip. “Our house got a little louder today with this present. He LOVES the drums and immediately asked for us to sing his favorite song #Speechless by @danandshay to play along. Thanks @jordankreynolds @thisianoneill @chrisetyrrell for inspiring him!”

In the clip, Cash can be found banging on the drum kit while Dave and his wife, Kelli, are heard singing “Speechless” in the background.

Dave and Kelli welcomed a second child, daughter Lillie Renee, into the world late last year. The singer admits that having a daughter was a bit of a learning curve for him.

“[To] have her little nightgowns and little dresses already is totally new for me. I feel like I’m totally out of my element, but learning so much already. [We’re] just having a blast and so lucky to have such a beautiful family,” he said in a previous interview.

Lady Antebellum are currently on the road with Darius Rucker as part of their joint headlining Summer Plays On Tour, which runs through October. The trio also recently announced a new label deal with Big Machine Label Group’s BMLG Records. Previously, the band were signed to Capitol Records Nashville where they have released seven albums and garnered seven GRAMMY Awards.
