If anyone in country music is perpetually living their best life, it has to be Lauren Alaina. The effervescent country star is masterful at making lemonade from lemons and hilarity from the mundane. Now, on a tour in the U.K., she’s even able to make the stereotypically stoic and serious Brits seem like a barrel of monkeys.
Lauren has taken fans on a virtual vacay through her Instagram posts that have included a side trip in Scotland that led the singer, dressed in a camouflage kilt, and her merry band of musicians, through the Scottish hillside on a quest for Highland cattle.
She also enjoyed a typically gloomy day in Glasgow where she took in the view from Edinburgh Castle.
And to truly take in all of the flavors of England, Lauren took in her first taste of the British- turned-American favorite, fish and chips. While you can definitely get fish and chips in Nashville, it is uncertain how authentic they are.
Lauren’s final show in the U.K. is on July 27 in London. She then returns to North America for a handful of shows in August and September. Then her headlining That Girl Is Me Tour picks up on September 14 in Columbia, Missouri with Filmore.
In the meantime, the bubbly beauty is enjoying the success of “Ladies In the 90s” and can also be heard collaborating with her pal, Chris Young, on his song, “Town Ain’t Big Enough.”
