As the CMT drama “Nashville” is coming to an end, Lennon Stella‘s music career is just heating up. The actress, who plays Maddie Conrad on the country music show has recently signed her very own real life record deal with Records label, home to rapper Nelly and Noah Cyrus.

Lennon took to Instagram to share the big news. “Special special day <3. Soooo excited that I can finally share that I’ve signed my first label deal with @recordsco,” Lennon said on Instagram.

The 18-year-old singer is best known for her role as Maddie Conrad/Claybourne on the CMT drama “Nashville.” In that role, Lennon has shown off her vocal prowess singing with her real life younger sister Maisy, who also plays her younger sister on the show, Daphne Conrad. The two started out as a duo Lennon & Maisy in real life, while also singing together on the show. As time went on both Lennon and her character have ventured off into a solo career. A case of art imitating life or in this case, life imitating art.

“i feel so lucky to work hand in hand with this incredible and inspiring group of people,” Lennon wrote. “There are no words to describe the feeling of finally being able to release my own music, something I have always dreamed of. I am truly thankful for all the love and support. stay tuned xxxx”

Lennon is currently working on her debut album, which will be released by Columbia records as part of a joint venture with Records.

We also hope this means we still get some special performances from Lennon AND Maisy though.
