Little Big Town are in the midst of traveling the country as part of the Bandwagon Tour this summer with Miranda Lambert and the group recently learned the unfortunate news that one of their trailers was stolen. In a twist of fate, the band reveal to fans on social media that none of their instruments were lost in the incident. In fact, it was quite the opposite.

“To the guys that stole our trailer- guess you thought you were getting vintage guitars and amps,” Little Big Town writes on Twitter. “Instead you got two old kid bikes, 1 scooter, a baby pool and a unicorn float. Karma’s a funny thing.”

The band are certainly getting the last laugh now and shared two photos of the colorful baby pool and giant unicorn float that the thieves acquired in their post.

Despite a stolen trailer, Little Big Town have been having a career-defining year. The country singers were recently honored at Nashville’s Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum with a new exhibit titled Little Big Town: The Power of Four. All four members were in attendance for the museum’s unveiling and visibly emotional about the honor.

“We couldn’t be more grateful,” Phillip Sweet said during a ceremony, wiping away tears. “Somebody’s gotta talk right now because I’m so sappy right now.”

“We were just four people that believed we had something unique to share and a great love for music and each other and family, and we have that incredible foundation of family that gives us the courage to think that we could conquer anything in our lives,” Karen Fairchild added.

The exhibit, which features costumes worn by the band, personal memorabilia, photos, awards, instruments and much more, is open through June 9, 2019. One Country‘s Kelly Sutton spoke with the band on the evening the exhibit opened to the public.
