Loretta Lynn gave a rare update to fans this week when she revealed that she recently filmed a music video for her new album. The 86-year-old singer appears to be on the mend following her broken hip in January.

“At the Ranch yesterday filming for a music video for my new album called Wouldn’t It Be Great,” the country legend shared on Facebook. “We’ll have more updates for you all soon!”

The post included a shot from the video camera of the singer seated on her stoop while a big smile encroached upon her face. Standing beside her appeared several musicians.

Earlier this year, Loretta canceled her only scheduled performance. She was slated to play the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tulsa, Okla. on May 17 but ahead of the show, fans learned that the news of her concert had changed. A statement from Lynn’s manager was sent to all ticket holders that read, “Due to circumstances beyond our control, the Loretta Lynn date, scheduled May 17, 2018, in Tulsa has been canceled. Refunds are available at point of purchase.”

Loretta suffered a stroke last May, also forcing her to postpone an album that was scheduled for release that August. She soon recovered and was on hand to celebrate Alan Jackson’s Medallion Ceremony as he was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, Tenn. A few months later she performed during a rare appearance at the Tennessee Motorcycle and Music Revival in September.

In January of 2018, Lynn took a serious fall that broke her hip. Loretta’s official Instagram posted a statement about Loretta’s condition: “American music icon, Loretta Lynn is recovering from a fractured hip after a fall while at home. She is doing well and thanks all her fans for their thoughts and prayers.”
