Loretta Lynn has to be one of America’s greatest treasures and she’s still going strong after more than 50 years in the business.

Looking as vibrant as ever in a teal ensemble and boots to match, Lynn took the “Today” stage to discuss her new album, Full Circle, and to sing one of our favorite songs, “Everybody Wants to Go to Heaven.”

Before singing, she told host Savannah Guthrie that she loves touring with her boys and that, “they all call me ‘mama’ but they are all older than me,” with a laugh.

Full Circle, produced by Patsy Lynn Russell and John Carter Cash, and recorded at the Cash Cabin Studio in Hendersonville, Tennessee, takes listeners on a journey through Loretta’s musical story, from the Appalachian folk songs and gospel music she learned as a child, to new interpretations of her classic hits and country standards, to songs newly-written for the project.
