For the fourth Winter in a row, Luke Bryan and his crew headed down to an all-inclusive resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico for 4 days of country music, tequila, beachin’ and a little more country music.

The official party host, it was Luke’s job to make sure all of the scheduled performers felt at home in Mexico and he really went all out for his old pal, Blake Shelton. To make sure Blake was completely at ease with the evening, Luke decided to dress just like Blake, but Blake from 1998— the mullet, the cowboy hat, the belt buckle, the baggier jeans and plaid shirt. And it really worked for him. Not sure if it worked for Blake. Luke even made sure the Sexiest Man Alive life jacket was readily available.

Luke shared a couple of photos on Instagram of his night out as Blake and he also had the Smithworks vodka flowing. Luke’s wife Caroline even got in on the trolling, but she seemed to be making fun of Luke, too saying, “Blake Bryan. Luke really wanted to capture the vintage Blake look….but he actually looks like Luke from our college days.” .

Before the night was over Blake Bryan took the stage and even sang “Hollaback Girl” with Gwen Stefani, who made a surprise appearance.

When the Blakes finally got on stage together, Luke told a story about his “tequila guy” that Blake immediately called him out on– “most regular people don’t have a guy that follows them around with tequila,” he said.

And of course, the BFFs and soon-to-be reality TV show rivals sang a cover of George Strait’s “All My Ex’s,” much to the crowd’s delight.
