You can take the boy off the farm, but you can’t take the farm out of the boy, and Luke Bryan makes that abundantly clear as he gears up to launch his 11th annual Farm Tour. And this year, he’s going to a new region of the U.S.
In a release, Luke explains, “The idea behind this tour is to bring full production concerts to small towns that would not see larger scale shows. Growing up in rural Georgia we had to drive to larger cities to see concerts. It is so exciting to watch each of these shows being built like a small city in itself in the empty pasture land of these farms. We can feel the pride form the people in these towns as well as the farmers and it takes everyone coming together to pull them off.”
The tour stops also give Luke the opportunity to give back in another way. Since he started this annual tour, he has given away more than 60 scholarships to students from farming families who are attending a local college or university near each of the stops.
In addition, Bayer, Luke’s Farm Tour sponsor, donates a meal to a hungry American for each hashtag share: #HeresToTheFarmer.
Tickets go on sale June 6 at 10am local time on Luke’s website. Members of his fan club can start buying tickets on June 3. Citi cardmembers can also purchase on June 3 at the City Entertainment website. And be sure to check out those VIP packages.
