As the holiday season is upon us, Luke Bryan stopped by “Pickler & Ben” to spread some cheer.

The ‘Whatever Makes you Country” singer sat down with hosts Kellie Pickler and Ben Aaron to share some fond memories of his relationship with wife Caroline, with whom he shares two sons, Tate and Bo.

After revealing that he started dating his wife in college and they shared a few break ups here and there, Luke went on to share how it all worked out in the end.

“We were apart for about five and a half years,” reveals Luke. “Which was kind of blessing because I went off to Nashville, kind of got all this going. She finished college, she went and actually got a career. When we got married, her career supported me when I was making about ten thousand dollars a year, she was the one bringing in the dough. As we look back on our 900 square foot house we had at the time, we had some fun times there and we’re still having some good times”

Luke went on to share what his wife has created at their farm with Brett’s Barn. The barn is dedicated to their infant niece Sadie Brett Boyer who passed away in February 2017.

“We lost a niece. Caroline’s brother and his wife lost their first girl and her name was Brett. She was seven months old and she had congenital heart disease,” Luke said. “So we named the barn, Brett’s barn. So through that we’ve been able to host some kids from Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital and we’ve been able to host some St. Jude’s kids.”
