The Peach Pickers are arguably the most successful songwriting trio in Nashville (today). Made up of Georgia natives Dallas Davidson, Rhett Akins and Ben Hayslip, they have a combined 60 No. 1 hits to their credit (many of those together), more album cuts than one could count and a number of songwriter of the year honors from BMI, CMA, ACM, NSAI and ASCAP.
This year’s show was at the Ryman Auditorium and featured one of the Peach Pickers’ favorite Georgians and songwriting buddies– Luke Bryan.
Luke joined the trio on stage to sing their most recent co-write, “Huntin’, Fishin’ and Lovin’ Every Day” to a packed house. They even changed the line of “that’s a prayer a country boy prays” to “that’s the prayer a Georgia boy prays.” (Dallas and his family are featured in Luke’s video for the song.)
