A few weeks ago, before a sold out stadium show, Luke Bryan played a small acoustic set for a few VIPs. During that set he played a brand new song “totally off the cuff,” according to Bryan and The Boot, but quickly it resonated with fans.

Southern Gentleman” will be featured on Bryan’s upcoming Farm Tour EP and already, the tracks are a little different than those Spring Break EPs he used to release. Especially, “Southern Gentleman.”

During the interview with The Boot, Bryan went on to explain what or who a Southern Gentleman is.

“I think a southern gentleman is … there’s a lot of parameters of that. I think holding women in the utmost highest respect and being polite and being a classy person is certainly a definition of a southern gentleman. Conducting yourself with manners and etiquette and being a good person.”

To recap, 6 Ways to Spot a Southern Gentleman According to Luke Bryan:

1. Man who holds women in the utmost, highest respect
2. Man who is polite
3. Man who is classy
