What an exciting time for Luke Combs! The 2018 CMA New Artist of the Year winner just announced his engagement to girlfriend Nicole Hocking and, apparently, the proposal happened “a while ago.”
Luke took to his Instagram to share the news of their engagement alongside a photo of him and Nicole with a gorgeous Hawaii backdrop. “She said yes a while ago but this is a way better place to take pictures than the kitchen,” he said. “Can’t wait to spend forever with you.”
His now-fiancee shared the same photo on her own Instagram to announce the news, saying, “You’re stuck with me forever! I love you so sooo much babe!”
The day after his CMA Award win this year, Luke shared a sweet note to his now bride-to-be. “I won a CMA award last night but I showed up a winner because of this amazing woman,” Luke said in an Instagram post.
“Thank you for believing in me, supporting me, and eating cookout with me at 1:30am after the awards. I love you so much Nicole Hocking, you’re incredible inside and out.”
