After releasing new music and teasing a big upcoming announcement, Luke Combs pulled a fast one on his fans this morning. The “When it Rain it Pours” singer posted a message on Instagram, letting his fans know that he would not be releasing new music this year.

What? That’s what Luke’s fans have been waiting for. This was his message:
“New music update (please read the whole post before commenting): For all intents and purposes, I had plans to release new music this year, but due to unforeseen circumstances, it unfortunately isn’t going to happen.” Cue the angry comments and tears.
But hold on, there was more.
He continued, “JK…”Beer Never Broke My Heart” Our A WEEK FROM TODAY ON MAY 8 AT 9AM EDT!”

Phew! Now that’s how you get people’s attention when announcing the release of your new album. Well played Luke, well played. Fans can rest easy now and get ready for May 8 when Luke will give Beer Never Broke My Heart to the masses.

Luke is currently on the road for his 2019 Beer Never Broke My Heart Tour with new dates that will keep him on the trek with Morgan Wallen, Cadillac Three and Jameson Rodgers through December.
