When Mike Judge creates an animated series, there’s a chance it might offend the sensitive. The creator of “Beavis & Butthead” and “King of the Hill” isn’t holding back in his newly created animated series, “Mike Judge Presents: Tales From The Tour Bus,” airing exclusively on Cinemax.

The eight-episode series chronicles the wild adventures of country music’s most colorful legends, including George Jones, Johnny Paycheck, Waylon Jennings, Tammy Wynette, Blaze Foley, Jerry Lee Lewis and Billy Joe Shaver.

Judge will narrate the show along with his executive producer duties. Friends and band members closest to the legendary characters will share their craziest stories about the artists—set to animation and live-action archival performance footage and photos.

The premiere episode will cover the tales of the “Take This Job and Shove It” singer, Johnny Paycheck, who was known for his disorderly drug binges, grand theft auto, and shooting a man over turtle soup.

“Mike Judge Presents: Tales From The Tour Bus” premieres Sunday, Sept. 22 10 p.m. ET/ 9 p.m. CT on Cinemax. Check out the hilarious trailer.
