When Miranda Lambert released The Weight of These Wings in 2016 after her high-profile divorce from Blake Shelton she told fans, journalists and everyone in between if they wanted to know what had been going on in her life to just listen to the record.
Over the course of 24 songs, Lambert put her heartbreak out there, but she also had a few love songs about beau Anderson East.
There’s even a love song on the album detailing how the pair met, “Oh, how I remember well /Sunset on September 12/ I disappeared to get a drink / You still kept your eyes on me.”
To celebrate their 2-year anniversary, Lambert posted a sweet photo of her kissing East on the cheek with the lyrics to “Pushin’ Time.”
These two just keep getting cuter and cuter.
