In 2011, country music and the world was introduced the all-female country music supergroup– Pistol Annies. The group was made up of longtime friends and country music queens Miranda Lambert, Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley.

Musically, it was like the Dixie Chicks took a shot of whiskey, sprinkled some sass all over the place and set a few things on fire. The group’s debut album, Hell on Heels, went Gold. Due to the success of Lambert and Monroe’s solo careers, the group went on hiatus and never really got back together or broke up.

Every now and then, Monroe and Presley show up as surprise guest for Lambert and all is right in the world. And sometimes, Lambert shows up for Monroe too.

During a recent tour stop in Arkansas on Lambert‘s Keeper of the Flame tour the trio got together for “Heel on Heels” and “Takin’ Pills.”

The Arkansas crowd especially loved the line, “By playing Walmart on a Saturday night.”
