Morgan Evans Serenades New Bride Kelsea Ballerini with “I Do”

Shortly after saying “I Do” on the beaches of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, Morgan Evans called his new wife, Kelsea Ballerini, on stage so he could serenade her with his new song, “I Do,” for the first time since becoming husband and wife.

The song, written by Morgan, was penned as a tribute to his wife, then girlfriend. The newcomer posted the dedication on Instagram saying, “Wrote it about my girlfriend. Recorded it about my fiance’. Releasing it about my wife.”

“You don’t know / How many times a minute you cross my mind / And I don’t know / What I did so right / Just when I think it couldn’t get any better / To be the man standing in my shoes / There you go walking in in a new dress / Saying do you like this / And baby I do / Wanna hold you forever / No I ain’t ever been so sure / Just when I think I couldn’t love you any more / Baby, I do I do I do / Baby, I do I do I do,” Morgan sings in the chorus.

While up on stage, Kelsea sat beside her new husband on a stool as Morgan played the song on his guitar and sang to his new bride.

Kelsea and Morgan said their vows in front of family in friends during an oceanside ceremony in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico on Dec. 2. The couple took to social media to share their special day. They’ve been enjoying their first month as husband and wife while sharing relaxing photos from their honeymoon.
