With the Stanley Cup Finals’ schedule set and the Nashville Predators spot secured we know for sure that two games will take place in Nashville the week of CMA Music Festival and a possible third game happening the final night of the biggest event of the year, Sunday, June 11.

Since, every country music singer in the world will be in Nashville, the Predators will have a plethora of National Anthem singers to choose from, so who will they choose?

It’s important to remember– not every singer is equipped to sing the National Anthem. It’s an incredibly hard song to sing. So far, every singer (save Luke Bryan) has won multiple GRAMMYs, with Vince Gill collecting the most.

Fans also need to consider that so far, the Preds have only gotten big-timers to perform. You can’t go backwards here or all interest is lost. Also, one has to assume the Preds will choose singers that spend the majority of their off-time in Nashville. So, Blake Shelton is a massive star, but he’s not in Nashville much.

Game 3 Possibilities
Guess what? Dierks Bentley, Brett Eldredge, Chris Stapleton, Darius Rucker and Jason Aldean all have tour dates that night. Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are out. Assuming they won’t call on Carrie Underwood again, it could get weird.

Who will do it? Garth Brooks or Brad Paisley
Off-chance: Reba, Rascal Flatts

Kelly Clarkson and Kings of Leon are the biggest non-country stars in Nashville, save Michael W. Smith or Amy Grant, but they don’t have to pull these days.

Game 4 Possibilities
At this point, everyone is off the road for CMA Fest. Darius Rucker has his annual benefit concert across the way at the Ryman Auditorium, so he’s probably out.

Who will do it? Dierks Bentley
Off-chance: Brett Eldredge, Chris Stapleton, Tim McGraw

This could be Stapleton’s night because he closes out CMA Music Festival on Sunday, but Dierks has been one of the biggest Preds supporters in town for a while. It’ll be his turn to give it a-go.

Game 6 Possibilities
Anybody who isn’t playing Nissan Stadium on this night, could be considered. And you have to factor in who hasn’t already done it.

Who will do it? Tim McGraw
Off-chance: Reba, Rascal Flatts, Faith Hill, Carrie Underwood, Dierks Bentley

If Bentley doesn’t sing before game 4, so a Sunday night closer can sing, this would probably be his night– if he does sing before game 4, who knows!
