A new development has emerged in the divorce proceedings between Dixie Chick Natalie Maines and her Hollywood husband Adrian Pasdar.

A year and a half after the announcement that Natalie had filed for divorce from Adrian, People magazine says that television star is asking for over $16,000 a month for child support for the couple’s two children—Jackson (17) and Beckett (14). In addition, he is requesting over $40,000 a month in spousal support as well as $350,000 for legal fees.

Adrian claims that in the 17 years of the couple’s marriage, he was unable to work consistently because he stayed at home with the children while Natalie traveled extensively on tour with the Dixie Chicks. The report also reveals that Pasdar’s salary averages $150,000 per year versus Maines’ $2-million per year and $50-million net worth.

According to People, Natalie will be returning to the road in 2019 to promote solo music, so Adrian is anticipating that her effort will generate “millions of dollars of income.” A look at Natalie’s solo website does not yet show any upcoming tour dates.

Natalie and Adrian tied the knot in 2000 in Las Vegas. They welcomed Jackson a year later and Beckett three years after that.

In 2013, Natalie released her solo album, Mother, which produced the single, “Without You,” a cover of a song from Eddie Vedder’s solo album, Ukulele. The Dixie Chicks’ last album, DCX MMXVI Live came out in 2017. Ironically, in 2000, the Chicks released a song titled “Without You” that was written by Natalie and songwriter Eric Silver.
