He began with just inserting the pledge into his posts on Facebook, but decided he needed to do a little more to promote patriotism in this country today.
Now, over 100 posts and counting, McCoy even sets an alarm to make sure that he remembers to post them between 6:30 and 7:30 a.m.
Within his posts are hundreds of comments filled with support, personal stories and patriotism. And yes, the occasional nasty comment. But, McCoy finds joy out of doing it daily and wants to continue to share that with everyone.
He has even recruited help from some big name country stars, like Brad Paisley.
And recently, he enlisted the help of country music legend Charley Pride to help him backstage at the Grand Ole Opry.
Thomas Rhett has made an appearance too.
And yes, Wayne Newton.
