If you want to see how it’s done, just take a look at Reba McEntire. The legendary country singer showed the new crop of rising country stars what it means to be an entertainer as she wowed the crowd at the 53rd Annual CMA Awards Wednesday night (Nov. 13) in Nashville.
Not only did our favorite redhead take on hosting duties with Carrie Underwood and Dolly Parton, she also took the stage for a show stopping performance of her 1990 hit “Fancy.” As if the song wasn’t enough to get the crowd on their feet, Reba, took it to another level with her wardrobe surprises.
Starting her performance in a lavender silk dress with a furry sleeves, Reba shed that first layer as she hit the chorus revealing a sexy sleeveless red dress. But she wasn’t done there, as she continued on, the 64-year-old superstar walked to the audience acting out every word of the song. It was the that the next reveal came. Reba ripped off the red dress, only to reveal the a red sparkly romper, as her pants rolled down as she walked. Each reveal had the crowd cheering louder than the last time.
Keith Urban and wife Nicole Kidman could be see dancing in their seats as artists like Ashley McBryde, Thomas Rhett, Kacey Musgraves and more bopped to the popular tune.
Not an audience member was left seated. And that’s how it’s done folks!
