Reba shared a post on her socials saying, “After much thought and careful consideration among our family, we have decided to indefinitely postpone Mama’s funeral and burial at this time. We will continue to monitor the situation and let you know as soon as possible about future plans to celebrate her life when it is safe for everyone to attend.”

It’s been a difficult time for Reba. In addition to mourning the passing of her mother and delaying her upcoming tour, on March 16, she took a moment to honor the members of her band who died tragically in a plane crash in 1991. Reba posted a photo of her band and said, “29 years ago today, I lost my friends in a plane crash. The timing of Mama’s passing with that anniversary seems appropriate. I know they’re all in Heaven together and taking care of each other. Let’s keep finding ways to take care of each other down here on earth and never take one moment with our loved ones for granted.”
Our thoughts remain with Reba and those who were affected by these tragic losses.
