7 Random Questions with Runaway June’s Naomi Cooke, Jennifer Wayne and Hannah Mulholland


With their latest single, “Wild West” climbing the country charts, Runaway June—made up of Naomi Cooke, Hannah Mulholland and Jennifer Wayne—are heading back into the studio to complete their debut album.

While we wait for the full album, One Country sat down with the lovely ladies to find out a little more about what makes them tick.

Jennifer, Naomi and Hannah were good sports and answered 7 random questions about their pet peeves, favorite ice cream and what they are binge-watching right now.

1. What is your favorite western movie?

Hannah: “Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid.” I just love Paul Newman
Jennifer: “Tombstone.”
Naomi: “Magnificent Seven.”

2. What would be the theme song to your life?

Hannah: Joni Mitchell’s “Case of You.” It’s been one of my favorite songs and something I listen to no matter what age I am or what mood I’m in. I think that song would have to follow me in my life story.
Jennifer: “She Drives Me Crazy”
Naomi: Dolly Parton’s “Coat of Many Colors.” There’s a lot of relativity of me to her.

3. What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?

Hannah: Coconut Sorbet
Mint Chocolate Chip
Naomi: Mint Cocholate Chop

4. Where do you go to be alone?

Hannah: Hiking for me. I Love hiking by myself or just me and the dog.
Home or I love running by myself. I don’t put earphones in, I don’t listen to music I just love running outside by myself.
Naomi: I love being out in nature, the woods. I like to be in my car driving listening to music.

5. What are you binge-watching?

Hannah: “Westworld”
Jennifer: “This is Us.” One of the best shows I’ve ever seen.
Naomi: I’m not a big TV watcher, I would rather do anything else, but I just started “Big Little Lies.”

6. Give one word that describes the other two?

Hannah: Naomi – Fire and Jennifer – Ice
Jennifer: Naomi – Spitfire and Hannah – Nature
Naomi: Hannah – Vegan and Jen – Generosity

7.What is your biggest pet peeve?

Hannah: Little incessant, constant noises. Tiny little constant noises make me crazy.
When I hear people eating. People that don’t know how to eat.
When someone squeezes the middle of the toothpaste. I will get a divorce immediately.
