Russell Dickerson and Wife Kailey Reveal Gender of First Baby in Adorable Video [Watch]


Soon after country singer Russell Dickerson and his wife Kailey announced that they would be expecting their first child together, the couple is now sharing the baby’s gender in an adorable new video.

In a post on Instagram , Russell and Kailey take us along with them to their doctor’s appointment to find out the sex of their child.

“Today we’re going to find out what the gender is,” Russell explained. “So I’m going to find out the gender and I’m going to go to Target and get some clothes and surprise Kails with the gender.”

The couple then leaves the doctor’s office with the baby’s gender written down in an envelope. Then we see Russell, alone in the car, opening the envelope to reveal the baby is a BOY!! YAY!

But the video isn’t over. Russell then lays out a bunch of boy clothes and decorates the room in blue before revealing to his wife the sex of the baby. Kailey is then seen in the room with her eyes covered next to Russell.

“You ready?” he asks.

“Yeah,” she excitedly replies.

Kailey then sees all the blue and the couple embraces and jumps for joy exclaiming, “It’s a boy, it’s a boy!”

The couple’s country star friends were delighted by the news and showed their love and support in the comment section.

“Soooooo sweet!!!,” wrote Raelynn.

“This made me cry 😭 so happy for y’all,” added Danielle Bradbery.

“Haha so awesome man!! Congrats to y’all!,” replied Mitchell TenPenny

“I love this soooooo much. 😭😭😭,” commented Lindsay Ell.

The couple, who married in 2013, announced that they were expecting their first child in April with a post on Instagram.

THE DAD SHOES ARE OFFICIALLY OFFICIAL! WE’RE HAVING A BABY!!,” Russell wrote alongside a photo of the couple sitting together as Russell places his hand on his wife’s baby bump.

Fans know Russell for him for his No.1  hit singles, “Yours,” “Blue Tacoma,” and Every Little Thing.”
