Scotty McCreery kicked off his Seasons Change Tour this past weekend where fans got to hear many of the songs off the singer’s most recent album of the same name live. Scotty also included some covers in his set and one fan captured his engaging performance of Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You.”

With his guitar hanging on his back, Scotty pranced around the stage while singing Ed’s popular 2017 hit. Walking around the stage with apparent swagger, Scotty showcased his vocal range and ability at belting rapid fire lyrics on the upbeat track with standout musicianship from his band.

For nearly three minutes, the country star showcased his chameleon-like ability on the massive pop hit. A well received performance by fans, the audience can be heard screaming along throughout the clip, which you can watch below. At one point Scotty even shows off his impressive falsetto on the chorus.

Scotty launched his headlining tour last week in Texas. Following his first three shows, the singer raved about the audiences he had played for.

“After planning the Seasons Change Tour for so long, it was exciting to finally begin,” Scotty said in a statement. “The fans at the first three dates in Texas were amazing and really brought out the best in me and my band. We can’t wait for the next shows!”

The tour picks back up Dec. 7 in St. Paul, Minn., and runs through January with openers Jimmie Allen and Heather Morgan.
