Tim McGraw, Alan Jackson and More Remember September 11 on the 17th Anniversary

On the 17th Anniversary of September 11, a day Americans will never forget, country stars are taking to social media to remember those we lost in one of the most tragic days in U.S. history.

On Sept. 11 2001, a group of Al-Qaeda terrorists hijacked four commercial airplanes and flew them into the North and South Towers of the World Trade Center in New York, the Pentagon in Arlington County, Virginian and the fourth plane, headed for Washington D.C. crashed into a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, thanks to the heroic passengers on board who thwarted the terrorists efforts.

As a result, more than 3,000 people lost their lives, and over 6,000 were injured. The country came together that day to stand together as one united states. In honor of 9/11, we must remember to “#NeverForget.”
