Shania Twain is starring in her first major motion picture, Trading Paint, and it’s opposite John Travolta. Talk about pressure.
Shania plays Becca, John’s love interest. John plays Sam, a veteran race car driver, who has a conflict with his son. In an interview with ET Canada, Shania sat down with John to talk about filming and their camaraderie behind the scenes.

“It’s fun and it just feels really natural for me. I thought I was going to be really intimidated,” Shania said of acting. “I was unexpectedly, I guess surprisingly comfortable. I know that has a lot to do with John.”
IMDB shares the movie’s synopsis as, Veteran race car driver Sam Munroe (Travolta) and his son, a fellow driver from a small town overcome family and professional conflicts, balancing competition, ego, resentment and a racing nemesis to come out stronger on the other side.
The movie stars John, Shania, Toby Sebastian, Michael Madsen and Kevin Dunn.

With the movie behind them, perhaps there will be more collaborations between John and Shania, like a musical collaboration?
“I wanted to do a duet album with him years ago,” Shania told ET. The time is now Shania, the time is now.
Trading Paint hits theaters Friday, February 22.
