Since her very first performance during her blind audition on “The Voice,” Spensha Baker has continued to prove that she belongs in this competition– and that she belongs in country music.

As a part of Blake Shelton’s team, Spensha just keeps on getting better as a country artist and overall entertainer with each coming week– and her Top 11 performance of Little Big Town’s “Better Man” is all the evidence you need to believe it, too. (And, while clothes have nothing to do with this competition, I would like to point out that she looked flawless in that dress. But, I digress.)

Each of the contestants’ songs were picked by their fans, and I think LBT was a perfect pick for Spensha. It challenged her voice on the low notes, but gave her the opportunity to soar through those runs like the pro she is. There’s also something simply captivating about watching her perform, a skill that can’t be taught or learned.

At the end of her performance, coach Blake Shelton had nothing but praises (once again), and it’s easy to see why. Regardless of whether Spensha wins the competition or not, I have a good feeling this won’t be the last we hear from her— if we’re lucky, that is.
