Country Stars React to the Death of Kenny Rogers— “Rest in Peace My Friend”

When news broke early Saturday morning (March 21) about the death of Kenny Rogers, country stars reacted with their own social media tributes and an outpouring of love.

Dolly Parton, Kenny’s “Islands in the Stream” duet partner, woke up to the news and shared a video, remembering her friend. Reba shared a black and white photo with Kenny, thanking him for his friendship. Many others thanked him for the influence he had on their careers and most of all, they all shared their love for The Gambler.
