Steven Tyler, one of the more recognizable faces in music, discussed his debut solo album with Matt Lauer on NBC’s Today Show this morning.

After sitting down with Lauer, Tyler then performed live from Rockefeller Plaza. He played hits like, “Cryin” and “Piece of My Heart,” as well as his newest single, “We’re All Somebody Somewhere,” which is available on iTunes and Spotify now.

Tyler also revealed plans for his solo album, with the same name as his single, last month while visiting “The Ellen Degeneres Show.” We’re All Somebody Somewhere, will be available worldwide on July 15. Tyler is responsible for penning 12 of 15 tracks on the record.

Tyler will also be heading out on a 19-city solo tour called “Steven Tyler…Out on a Limb.” Tickets for those shows are available now.
