Recently, while visiting with late night show host and comedian Conan O’Brian, country artist Sturgill Simpson took center stage to perform “Oh Sarah,” a soulful, touching track off his latest record, A Sailor’s Guide to Earth.

The song, which we assume was written to or for his wife Sarah, reads as a man’s apology for being unable or unwilling to change his ways. The 37-year-old artist kept his performance simple, really letting the tender words of the song and the pureness of his voice shine.

When watching this performance, it’s easy to see Sturgill’s emotional connection to the song. It’s incredibly touching.
