Throughout season 11 of “The Voice,” Sundance Head has proven that he has the singing chops, stage presence and confidence required to carry him to the end.

Last night, during this season’s Top 10 Live performances, the 37-year-old singer gave a foot-tapping, bluegrass-infused performance of Tom T. Hall’s “Me And Jesus” — and it was exactly what I was hoping to hear from him. Though I loved seeing Sundance perform Alicia Keys’ “No One” last week, it was nice to see him return to his roots.

Currently, the #TeamBlake member is sitting at No. 1 on the iTunes Top Songs chart, which always seems to give contestants a nice boost in the competition.
