After parting ways with Big Machine Label Group’s Republic Nashville imprint, The Band Perry is taking a cue from one of their former labelmates, Taylor Swift. The sibling trio has signed a new record deal with Interscope Records, according to Billboard.
Billboard is reporting that the Band will be working out of Interscope’s LA office, marking their official transition to pop. However, they will be lingering around in the country format by having select singles handled by Interscope sister label, UMG Nashville.
Currently, the Band Perry is in the studio working on their third full-length studio release, Heart + Beat. The album will include some material the group had worked on while with BMLG.
The failing single, “Live Forever” was recently chosen as the official song of Team USA for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro .
