Country super couple Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are celebrating 23 years of wedded bliss. The couple married on October 6, 1996 in an intimate ceremony.
To commemorate the milestone, Tim and Faith both took to Instagram to share sweet messages to each other on their special day.

“Happy anniversary baby!! 23 years and I can’t wait for the next 50!!! I love u,” Tim wrote alongside a photo of them walking the red carpet at the American Music Awards in 1997, shortly after they became husband and wife.
Faith shares her love for her husband with a photo of the two on set of her “I Can’t Do That Anymore” video. That sone was released in Oct. 1996, the same month and year the two tied the knot.
“To my one and only, Happy Anniversary, my love 🥰 I love you 💗❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️,’ Faith wrote.
Tim couldn’t help but share another photo of the couple for good measure.
“Another pic for our anniversary……just for fun :),” he added.
Tim and Faith set tongues wagging when sparks flew during Tim’s Spontaneous Combustion tour in 1996, in which Faith was the opening act. Tim proposed to his future wife in the summer of 1996 as a tour stop in Grand Junction, Colorado.
“I said, ‘I’m really serious. I want you to marry me,” Tim revealed in an old video on Facebook. “She laughed and she said, ‘we’re at a country music festival in a trailer house and you’re asking me to marry you?” And I said, ‘Yeah.'”

While Faith did not give Tim an answer, after his performance he came back to his trailer and written on the mirror with a lipstick kiss, Faith wrote, “Yes, I’m gonna be your wife.” And the rest is history.
The couple share 23 years and three daughters, Gracie (22), Maggie (21) and Audrey (17).
