If you follow Tim McGraw and Faith Hill on Instagram, you’ve caught glimpses of their own private Bahamas island before and probably didn’t even know what you were seeing. The superstars recently sat down with Architectural Digest, to show of their beloved Bahamian home and it’s a real-life, actual paradise.
McGraw and Hill first purchased the property in 2003, but couldn’t move into their retreat known as L’île d’Anges until 2012, telling AD, “We were a little bit naive, possibly…We set out to build a house. We had no idea we had to build everything else. We basically had to build a little town. You’ve got to have staff houses. You’ve got to have infrastructure.”
The retreat was built by McAlpine out of Nashville and is actually a collection of eight distinct pavilions connected by thatch-roofed loggias.
